An Accordion, Portishead and a President
with PussyFire
A political utopia in a fishnet cage, inhabited by two tender and furious clowns.
A president performs a discourse, a neuroqueer manifesto about shame: he-now-they addresses the viewers in a solemn manner, sharing secret self-beliefs, dysfonctional behaviors and bitter mea culpas, before transforming into a gentle clown to the sound of the accordion played by a hidden visitor.
Their emerging relation slowly shapes an atmosphere of tenderness, softness, safety and joy, offering each other lip-syncs, songs, smiles and dances.
The range of their repertoire travels through emo pop songs, neo-punk anthems and mellow ballads.
